St John’s under 14 girls beat Dame Alice Owen School 15 – 9 !
The strong St John’s team won convincingly 15 goals to 9. The girls played exceptionally well throughout the game to secure this victory.
Ruya was played skilfully in centre court, and was supported by Kyri and Olivia who helped drive the ball into the shooting circle. Here, Katy and Skyli were both consistent with their shooting, always on target thus accumulating the goals. Skyli helped the team by working well to gain possession of the ball and score numerous times.
Defensively, Madeleine was great at both dodging and marking and in defence, through all four quarters of the game, She was supported by Debira and Alana who were excellent at stopping the Dame Alice Owen girls from scoring too many goals.
