St. John’s F1, F2 and F3 Girls continued this season with two games against Longwood Prep School, with both age group matches resulting in wins. The first game the girls won 5 – 2, and the second game they won 3 – 1.
The first game, Valerie scored all of the goals, supported throughout the match by Estela and Harley, thus taking the lead over the four quarters.
Strong defence was provided by Emel, Tejumade and Estela.
Eva played at Centre and across the court, using the wing attack, Amelia, effectively.
Estela showed her breadth of skills, playing in both games at Wing Defence and Goal Shooter. In the second game, Tejumade played Goal attack, scoring all three goals. She was supported by Sia in Wing Attack and Eva at Centre, feeding the ball to the shooter.
Great defending by Ayla, Sophia and Anaya sealed the score.
Well done to all the girls and looking forward to their next game after half term!
