St. John’s Netball Team win 25 – 0 against AIM academy! Another emphatic netball win for St John’s girls.
A team of 11 girls from the 1st and 2nd forms played in the year 8 Borough league game against AIM Academy.
The girls won decisively with a score of 25 to nil.
This is the first time that this team has played a fixture together. The team included Kyri, Leia, Katy, Dabira, Arianna, Robyn, Ria, Olivia, Alana, Skyli and Abigail.
All team members played very well, but special mention should be made to Skyli, Katy and Alana who were excellent in shooting – leading to the high score, and Arianna, Robyn, Dabira, Abigail and Kyri playing superbly in defence. Keeping control in the middle very well was Ria, who played centre.
We are all looking forward to the next league match after half term.
