St. John’s Senior School girls competed in the Enfield Borough netball tournament and came 2nd on goal difference.
The Senior Girls’ Netball Borough Tournament was held on Wednesday 27th September. Nine girls from St John’s (3rd form to lower sixth form) took part, along with seven other schools in the borough.
St. John’s school girls won all of their games, except one, during the tournament, and came 2nd overall on goal difference by a mere 4 goals.
Outstanding players were Selin in the lower sixth form, and Zara in the third form; both played their defence and attack positions very well throughout the games, thus preventing the other teams from building up a high goal total.
