Now more than ever, our St. John’s School community is committed to providing support to those in need and at this time we have chosen the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) who are providing aid for families in immediate need in both Turkey and Syria.
We asked pupils to make a donation of at least £2 to meet the basic needs of the people of Turkey and Syria. Immediate priorities are medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes, and ensuring people have food and clean water.
St. John’s generous community came together and their proceeds will go a long way to help those in need.
